Hello Friends,
We have been madly picking all the different oranges, lemons and grapefruits off our little citrus trees. It is totally incredible to me that a little tree can produce that much fruit! The kids are in their glory gobbling up all the juicy splendor. My lavender plants are blooming again too. January in Los Angeles is pretty great even if it rained all last week! This series is inspired by my gratitude for all that grows in LA's winter.
I cannot believe I carried some of these papers home from Denmark. I couldn't resist the gorgeous patterns and fresh colors. Here is a page from a journal I keep that is just for little visual impulses.
A gift of peonies found their way into some of my vintage "sun purple" bottles.
These handmade notebooks made their way home with me when I was picking up some watercolor paints at Blick Art Supply store. I could spend hours in that store.
