My Dad

Hello Friends,

I have been absent because I am heartbroken. My loving and devoted Dad passed away suddenly a week and a half ago. He was the center of our family. The initial shock has slowly worn off and I am now grappling with the fact that one of my best friends will no longer be here.    

Please know I will be back soon.

Vignettes of Color

Hello Friends,

I hope you enjoyed this little spring time color story. The beautiful tea tins are all made by Kusmi Tea and I packed them back from my trip to Copenhagen in November. The tea tastes as good as it looks and is now available in the US. The darling fox artwork is by my friend Charlotte from Victoria, British Columbia. If you want more information on her work just let me know as she does not have a website at this time. I am currently working on another series for my "Color Me Pretty" column on decor8, which starts up again next week. Lot's of yummy soft colors to share with you so check back here soon.

It feels like summer here, it is going to be close to 80 degrees today! I hope you are all well and that your March has been good so far. It feels like it is just whizzing by! Thank you for taking time out of your day to visit me here, I appreciate you very, very much. xo leslie

Birthday Flowers

Hello Friends,

I wanted to share with you some photographs I took of a little birthday party we had a few weeks ago. The weather was warm that weekend and we all enjoyed a relaxing afternoon outside. Posting these photos has me thinking about chocolate cake again. Oh no, I may have to bake one tomorrow!
