Hello,

Here are just a few of the pile of photographs I have recently taken in my mom's garden on Vancouver Island. She is an artist and plants are her medium these days. I picked a little bouquet to share with you too.

Tokyo and Neon

Hello and Happy August,

I am sorry I have been away for so long but I have had many changes to deal with! I had lots of travel which included Japan as you know. I also got our house ready to sell and then we sold it. I then packed and we moved. Now, I am looking for a new house and enjoying what is left of summer holiday with my children before school starts. Phew.

Above are the photographs from my July Color Me Pretty column. I will be joining my good friend Holly Becker of decor8 for her San Francisco (August 25) and Los Angeles (August 26) book tour events at Anthropologie.
