It is hard to believe a year has past since my last post. I thought I would be back sooner! Well, I am here now to dust off the cobwebs and share a bright holiday series of photos I took this week. I also thought I would share about a couple projects and creative things I have done since the last time I was here.
Firstly, some holiday DIY ideas for you. A tree made from cardboard and thinly cut butcher type paper (taped on in strips). Plain glass ornanments filled with various snips of scrap paper, yarn and glitter. Pine cones gathered and hit with a little spray paint. Tea lights wrapped with washi tape. White painted bottles wrapped with more washi tape and a few collections of papers from around my studio. I hope you enjoy these ideas and find ways to change them up and create your own holiday decorations.
I will be back to talk more about my various projects from the past year, a very quick recap...
I had the wonderful opportunity to create six watercolor designs for a line of voile fabrics that will be availabe next month through Cloud Nine.
Had fun participating in the Happy Mail Project every month!
I attended a fantastic Ace Camp last May taught by Mikkel Vang and run by my lovely friend Angela Ritchie in Gotenburg Sweden. If you have the chance to take an Ace Camp go for it as they are pretty amazing.
Finally I worked really really hard on my first book with Holly Becker. I am happy and honored to be a co-author of Decorate with Flowers. It will release in the USA in May and in the UK in March! I will be back to share much more on this project but here is a link to Holly's post about the release in the UK. Please visit Chronicle Books for more on the US release.
As many of you know, I update pretty frequently on Pinterest and Instagram. You can see what I am interested in and what I am up to there. Thank you for checking in here and I wish you a wonderful holiday season.
